Camera module coating applications

The sensors CCD / CMOS used on digital camera will sense all the light (visible light. Infrared and ultraviolet, etc.) which can make the image looked very different from we have seen. In order to solve this problem, to install an IRCF (IR-cut filter) between the lens and CCD can block the infrared and ultraviolet light into the sensor CCD / CMOS. AR(Anti-reflection)
Anti reflection coating, produces destructive interference in the beams reflected from the interfaces and constructive interference in the corresponding transmitted beams, which increases the transmittance of glass or transparent substrates.
The transmittance of regular PMMA or glass is approximately 91~92%. The transmittance can reach 94~95% with single-sided coating and 98~99% with double-sided coating.
Applications: Head up display (HUD), solar panel (glass), cellphone camera, car panel, military and industrial panel, etc.

 

 

AS (Anti-smudge) AF (Anti-finger print)

Anti-Smudge Coating ( Anti-fingerprint coating) is transparent under the level of visible and infrared light. It has low friction coeffient and its water contact angle is above 110°. Products with this type of coating have such features as water-resistant, fingerprint-resistant, smudge-resistant, fog-resistant, scratch-resistant, anti-static and easy-cleaning.

 

 

Blue Glass

The blue glass is one of the optical filters, which is mainly used to eliminate the infrared light and trim the incoming light. It can correct the color shift generated from high pixel sensor, and can be used to correct color. The applications are such as video lens filters, automatic optical detection (AOI), optical instruments, inspecting equipment and etc.. The blue glass can also replace the IR cut filter applications.
